MIPTV: Disney Japan has acquired Indonesian toon The Beachbuds from Sydney-based Odin’s Eye Animation.

Produced by J-Toon Productions, the children’s animated series aimed at 6-11s follows a host of characters living in a tropical island paradise resort. It has also been acquired by pubcaster ABC in Australia where it is already on air.
